A modern and responsible approach to skincare.
Our microdermabrasion treatment offers the newest option in the quest for youthful vibrant skin.
The advantage is its ability to control the level and area of abrasion; helping ensure skin tissues are biologically respected and skin trauma is minimized. The skin can then heal more evenly and naturally.
Microdermabrasion is fast and pain-free. Leaving little or no redness. It can be used to treat and minimized the most difficult skin conditions, or just rejuvenate and maintain the health of the skin.
How does microdermabrasion work?
Microdermabrasion is an advanced technique to exfoliate the skin. This treatment removes dead skin cells and increases cellular turnover leaving the skin looking more radiant and youthful. Microdermabrasion on the face and body improves the overall look, feel, texture, and tone of the skin and helps products penetrate more easily. At Bare Again Laser Skin Clinic we only use the microdermabrasion machine by Ultraceuticals.
What are the benefits of microdermabrasion?
It improves skin texture
It is less risky than most other resurfacing procedures
It does not involve any surgical downtime
It is a relatively quick procedure and can be done during a lunch break
Results vary from person to person.
Is there any down time?
No. Microdermabrasion is not a harsh or deep treatment requiring days to heal. Some redness may occur and this will vary between customers, however, most redness will subside within 24 hours. Make-up can be applied immediately following the procedure which enables customers to have the treatment done during a lunch break and then return to work.
HOW SOON WILL I NOTICE RESULTS AFTER UNDERGOING MICRODERMABRASION TREATMENT?
We usually recommend a series of treatments – usually three to six sessions for satisfactory results. These sessions are usually spread out over a period of two weeks.
After the first few treatments, the skin looks healthier and softer. After a series of treatments, the changes become more drastic and the fine lines and wrinkles become less defined. The skin also becomes thinner and smoother, and pores are no longer noticeably dilated.
Microdermabrasion improves the appearance of shallow wrinkles and fine lines but is not an effective technique for removing deep wrinkles and scars.
