Traditional Lasers for tattoo removal work by using pulses of light to break up the ink into small particles. By using ultra short energy pulses Picosure breaks the ink into much smaller particles with less heat transfer to the skin.
These small particles are then removed by the bodies own white blood cells. The smaller the particles the more effectively these cells can remove the ink.
